Growth Associate

The candidate will play a critical role in DEF’s early growth; Their goal will be to create greater awareness of the organisation, its mission and work. This will be done through key marketing channels and proactively building partnerships across the board.

 

We’re looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual who is excited by the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up and align deeply with DEF’s mission.

Title: Growth Associate

Location: London, UK

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Full-time or Part-time

Key Responsibilities

Every day is a different day working at the Dharma Endowment Fund! Responsibilities will continue to evolve; however, initial areas of work include:

Marketing & Communications

Support in creating and executing DEFs marketing strategy across multiple channels including:

  • Establish primary marketing channels

  • Write and publish DEF’s quarterly newsletters and online blog

  • Liaise with external PR representatives

  • Support the development of DEF’s brand and messaging strategy

  • Manage DEF’s external communications

Partnerships Building

Support the development and management of partnerships with donors, grant recipients, and mission-aligned organisations by:

  • Helping to identify and cultivate new collaborative opportunities that advance DEF’s strategic goals

  • Assisting in maintaining clear communication and coordination across key partnerships

  • Generate new and innovative partnership models

 

Research & New Funding Opportunities

  • Research new trends to feed into DEFs strategy across the board

  • Research new funding and grant opportunities

 

You will also be involved in our general day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

What we are looking for: 

  • 3–5 years’ experience working in marketing or either as a business analyst, consultant, in start-ups, venture building, or similar fields

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking

  • Highly resourceful, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity

  • Personally aligned with Dharmic values and DEF’s mission

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with or within a non-profit organisation (as a donor, grantee, or team member)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

  • Location: Fully remote (UK-based), with the option to work 2 days a week from an office in North West London in future
